| GRADUATION SUNDAY - May 26th, both services. We will honor our 7 graduating high school seniors at the worship services and will host a reception for them in the dining room after the 8:30 AM service. CHURCH SOFTBALL LEAGUE - Our First United Methodist /Our Savior Lutheran Church softball team plays most Monday nights in the church league. We play at either 6:30 PM or 7:45 PM on the North 19th Ave. East fields. If you are interested in playing with the team, contact Rod Wright or the church office. Please call the church office for specific game times each week. Fans are welcome to cheer them on!! | MISSION MARKET IS NOW OPEN on Sunday mornings! Please bring garden produce, jam, and baked goods to share with others. Stop by the market and shop for your needs. Your freewill donations go to World Hunger. We'll have the market open through October. FREE COMMUNITY MEALS are held each Wednesday at our church. You are welcome to join us any and all Wednesday evenings in our church dining room (lower level). Serving begins at 5:30 PM. Several Newton churches and the Salvation Army team up to purchase, prepare and serve the meal each week--their gift to the Newton Community! |
